On September 1, 2023, the Sportsman Motel officially transferred ownership to the Truelove Family. The Trueloves are taking over with improvements on the top of the agenda.

We have been busy making improvements to the motel. When you stay with us you will find we started with the easy stuff such as all new bedding and towels. We have replaced all the shower curtains and have future plans for additional bathroom upgrades as well. Some of the rooms have new curtains and fresh paint as well as brand new mattresses. In several rooms we have also brought in brand new smart televisions for your convenience. We are adding new dishes to our kitchenettes as well as some new stoves and refrigerators.
